Last train first

Most shows end ~21:30–22:30; exit can take 20–40 minutes. Subway is not infinite.

  • Before entry: screenshot last train for your line + transfer.
  • Check branch lines (e.g. Line 1) — wrong direction wastes the night.
  • Preload a transit card so you skip ticket machines in the crush.
  • If you stay for the final ment, accept you may miss the last train — have a Plan B.

Night bus & taxi

N-buses (올빼미버스) cover some districts after midnight. Taxis surge at the gate.

  • Use Naver Map night-bus options from your venue the morning of the show.
  • Install Kakao T before Korea; register a foreign card in English UI.
  • Walk 5–10 minutes away from the main exit before requesting a car.
  • Save your stay address in Korean for the driver / pin.

Stay near the venue

The winning strategy is boring: a short walk or one bus after encore.

  • Book licensed stays early — show week fills first.
  • Match the hotel area to the venue line, not just “pretty Seoul.”
  • Leave big luggage at the stay; concert bags only.
  • If you miss everything: 24h cafe / convenience store / wait for first trains (~05:30) — plan that before panic.

Safety kit

Battery, cash buffer, and a few Korean lines beat a dead phone in a crowd.

  • Keep phone above ~30% before encore — maps + Kakao T drain fast.
  • Small KRW cash helps if card readers flake at late convenience stores.

  • Travel in pairs when possible; stick to lit main roads for taxi walks.
